MeMe

I was tagged by Amie. And I tag anyone who leaves me a comment...that just about covers it.

7 things not many people know about me...

1) I love pickles!!! Claussen pickles to be exact. My grocery store is less than a mile away and I can't get the jar home. full. ever. I also, have the same problem with home grown peaches...i will drive 50 miles to buy them from a little, old farmer and eat them all the way home.

2) I am a habitual streaker, in my home. I can't get dressed without a trip to the laundry room for various articles of clothing that usually go under your clothing and I never realize this until I have shed the current clothing I had on. and, my back windows are bigger than a giant-screen tv at a sport bar on superbowl sunday...no curtains, lots of neighbors...yea, thats enough on that one...except, that I have never been caught...well I hope.

3) I am a hippy at heart. I am a feeling based person. I could raise my kids barefoot, on a farm and juice carrots and eat swish chard and be very happy at that.

4) I love to drink diet coke out of the bottle from the fridge in the middle of the night....I also do this with salsa (but, I do use a spoon for it). It HAS to be cold diet coke. Too bad I rarely buy the stuff.

5) I am a bit eccentric. I am constantly wanting to change the colors in my home and rearranging furniture. I am also a slob lately.

6) I like being alone, but am often lonely.

7) I wish I had been a pioneer woman. I think our culture is lazy and has little or no work ethic...we (my generation) wants to be spoon fed from a silver platter...

Nice to know more about you! Here is me compared to you:

1) I'm with you on the Claussen pickles! YUMMMY! Peaches... good thing you live in GA! :)

2) I don't streak. In fact, I try to stay behind closed doors with 3 little boys around! Well, and there is the 4th boy, too!

3)My kids and I are always barefoot around the house and outside on nice days. What is swish chard? Can't comment there?

4)No diet coke for me, but I understand the COLD thing. My milk (when I was drinking milk) must be COLD! If it sits on the counter for more than a few minutes, I don't want to drink it. Salsa? I need a chip.

5) I hate painting. I know what colors I want my house, but I'm too lazy to paint them. I used to rearrange my bedroom all the time as a teen. That's fun, but my house hasn't been rearranged since we lived here - well except the rearranging of the rooms when the baby came. I can TOTALLY relate to the slob thing. :)

6)Completely with you here. 'nuf said.

7)ditto #6. However, I'd still want lots of boys around to do the hard labor. I'm a wimp like that. Have you checked out "Confessions of a Pioneer Woman"? Great blog and beautiful photos! She cooks, too!

You didn't ask to compare us, but I thought it'd be fun. If I get to the meme I'll do it on my blog. For the meantime, if you haven't seen it already, there is a "Me... In List Form" link on the right hand side of my blog.

That was fun! Thanks!

I knew #3 and #5 already. Well at least the part about changing colors and furniture arrangement, I'm not saying I think you are a slob!!!!

thanks for the very protective answer, dottie! love you for it, dottie!

becky, swiss chard (i'm not quite sure i spelled it right) is a green leafy veggie...i juice it and sautee it with a little olive oil and garlic...yum--but you're talking about someone who eats green beans (while picking them) out of the garden...well, act. I haven't had a garden in two years....since, my lymphoma diagnosis...i have needed two years to process that...you sound like my kind-of girl!

The streaking cracked me up. HAHAHAHA

I agree with number 7 - but not so sure I want to go back to the days of pioneering. I do think our country has a problem with a sense of entitlement that is no holds barred. (you can see it in the amount of debt people are willing to accrue)
